Ganjam is a name derived from the name of the village Ganja. It is one of Odisha’s coastal and hilly districts. Hills, forests, waterfalls, rivers, and valleys dot the landscape. Chilika Lake stretches to the northeastern part of Ganjam’s headquarters, Chhatrapur, which is 20 kilometers from Berhampur on the road to Bhubaneswar.
