Maa Barunei temple & Karunei Pitha are at the bottom of the Barunei hills and are just 5 km away from Khordha on the east side and 28 km from Bhubaneswar. Maa Barunei is one of the presiding deities of Khorda. This temple is also known as a Shaktipitha in Odisha. The temple was constructed by Ramachandra Dev.
